Altius Travel Agency (fully licensed and insured) has been in business in Zakopane since 2001. Altius is a small company led by two school friends Barbara Gasienica-Jozkowy and Malgorzata Bachleda-Szeliga who specialize in tourism for the active traveler. We offer varied itineraries which include packages for skiing, hiking, climbing and rafting in four National Parks which surround our hometown of Zakopane. Our goal at Altius Travel is to ensure your visit to Zakopane as being the most memorable and enjoyable.   • Dear Malgorzata, Just wanted to let you know that we had a great ski-holiday in Zakopane. Everything was as expected and the people at the "DZ4" were very service-minded and helpful. For your information we cancelled dinner and breakfast the last three days - not at all due to bad food or service - but simply because we had seen so many interesting restaurants when walking in the town. Actually we kind of missed our waiter the 3 last days! We have already discussed coming back next year and stay in one of the new cottages, but we don't know the exact week yet.   • Dear Barbara, I am sorry that this is so late, but Bill, Hannah, Peter and I would like to thank you and all your family for making our holiday in Zakopane such a wonderful experience. You were so helpful with every aspect of the holiday. From the transport to get to Zakopane, which you made so easy, to finding us alternative accommodation at the warm, friendly and comfortable PZ4. Hannah, Peter and I would like to thank your father so very much for his skills, patience and humour in making our skiing so memorable. We all really liked going to the different slopes, and in particular Kasprowy Wierch (I loved it - despite the fog on our last day) and the wonderful night-time skiing, which we all thought was fantastic. Your father helped us all to progress enormously, and he coped so well with us being at different stages. We were inspired by him. {Please send him our warm good wishes and thanks.) I would like to thank your sister Elizabeth for helping us to find our way back to Krakow airport with the bus, and also the information on the skating rinks, for when we finally and sadly, had to return our skis. Finally, I would like to say 'Hello' to your mother, who we waved at, from high up on a chair lift, when we were night -skiing.
