Wieliczka Salt Mines (12 km East of Kraków - 100 km far from Zakopane) are UNESCO World Heritage listed, world wide known salt mines available to tourists thanks to excellent infrastructure of lifts, stairs and corridors, with dozens of chambers and chapels carved out in salt and decorated with hand made sculptures and figurines. The guided tour of the mines takes 3 hours and covers the distance of 3,5 km at the depth between 64 to 135 metres below ground level. The Lift is available only on the way up. There is a short break for a visit in the underground restaurant and shopping centre at the end of the tour, just before we come back to the surface.
Kraków is a former capital of Poland, cultural capital of the region. We offer an excellent alternative to walking tours ensuring visits to most of precious Kraków historical sites within an hour's guided tour by sightseeing electric carts. We visit the Wawel Castle Hill and the Cathedral, Jagiellonian University, Old Market Square, Cloth Hall, St. Mary's Church, and former Jewish quarter of Kazimierz. There is free time for lunch and shopping in the afternoon.
Excellent way of getting transferred from Zakopane to Kraków, with a touch of cultural experience and sightseeing!
