plastic cards /deposit is take for the card/ with points which can be used on all lifts belong to Nosal ski centre. 1 point=0,1 zloty. One run on this lift costs from 18 up to 25 points /1,80 - 2,50 PLN/ depending of the season. In case of some points left on the card the cash desk /KASA/ accept your card and you get back the money left and your deposit.

How to get to Nosal: taxi /aprox 4-6 Euro from the Zakopane centre/
Altius suggestions: 1. take more points on your ticket then you think you need for during high season there is very often long queuing to KASA and it is ... nicer to give back the points /get back the money/ after ski day then to wait; 2. there are 3 or 4 private ski rentals around the Nosal ski centre - you can use them when the main one is very busy;

How to get to Szymaszkowa: minibus
Altius suggestions: we like this slope - comfortable chair lift and great view on Tatras. Try to get there before 9.00am for it bacome very busy in midday. And remember please: do not stop in the middle of the slope for it is rather narrow and some skiers and snowboarders go faster then they should.

Some staff did not speak great English, but this made them even more eager to be helpful toward us since we spoke no Polish. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would stay there again.

Huge, rooms with balconies (most overlooking Tatra Mountains) - indoor swimming pool, sauna, night club... The ski in and ski out facility was great for the family - we went down to breakfast in our gear just wearing ski socks on our feet and then padded down to hire our boots, without needing to leave the building.

There was a free fitness, sauna, wirhlpool. The staff was friendly helpful. The location is good if a bit hard to find. Breakfast was ok.
