Zakopane is a lovely town situated at the foothills of the majestic Tatra mountains. The unusual location of the town, hidden between a gentle range of Gubałówka and the rocky Tatra summits was a decisive factor in its career as a tourism centre. To encourage those who haven't been to Zakopane yet, we give the following reasons for visiting our town:
Looking north-west from the Ustup - Wierch Bachledzki - Antalowka - Zakopane
(yellow markings) walking trail one can admire gentle peaks of the Western Tatras:

When looking north-east one can see the sharp edges of the High Tatras:

And when looking east from the Bachledzki Wierch the view
will be completed
with the Slovakian Bielianske (white) Tatras:

But the best known landmark of Zakopane, to be admired from
