ZAKOPANE for GROUPS:
.: Are you planning winter holidays in Zakopane for your staff, group of friends or large family? We are ready to organise your holidays for you, show your group the most interesting places in our hometown and help you to plan detailed budget of your vacation:
Getting to Zakopane: the closest airport is Krakow Balice www and it would be great if you are able to book the flight to Krakow. If not - check the Katowice Pyrzowice airport www and Poprad Slovakia. After we get your flight details we can send a minibus /up to 18 seats/ or a bus to pick you up from the airport. Our driver will wait for you at the arrivals with your name on the label. It takes aprox. 2,5 hours to drive to Zakopane from Krakow Balice, little bit less from Poprad and 3.5 hrs from Katowice.
Accommodation in Zakopane: there are plenty of lovely pensions, cottages, huts and villas as well as comfortable three and four star hotels. For the families we do recommend the villas - DZ5, DZ4, DZ9, DZ14; for bigger groups of friends - private lodges like PZ2 nice, wooden home with inside swimming pool and sauna. Incentive groups should choose one of the hotels - our favourite are Nosalowy Dwor, Sabala and Villa Marilor.
Activities in Zakopane: the main activity during winter holidays is usually skiing. We can arrange for your group ski rental /if necessary the equipment could be delivered to your hotel/, ski or snowboard instructor, local transfers to different slopes which give you a chance to explore the area of Zakopane and surroundings during your stay. In the afternoons we recommend traditional horse sledge rides finished with the dinner at the bonfire or fascinated snowmobile expedition. Evening skiing can be arrange as well.
Eating out: you will probably like to have your dinners in the restaurants. Polish food is tasty, maybe a little fat but we are sure that you will like it. And the prices are really reasonable. We will recommend you different restaurants and book tables for you if you decide to come during high season.
On the last day our bus or minibus will pick you up from your cottage or hotel to drive you back to the airport. You can also think about staying for the last night /or nights/ in the Krakow. We can book nice apartment or hotel near the Old Town if you wish. For those who has an evening flight but decided to go to the airport directly from Zakopane we have an offer of visiting the famous Salt Mine in Wieliczka or museum in Aushwitz on the way back to the airport.
